Brent McMahon is racing IRONMAN Arizona this weekend.
Hello .. Brent McMahon is heading back to Tempe, AZ to reclaim the crown he won 2 years ago. You may recall, that in 2014, in his first IRONMAN, Brent recorded the world’s fastest IRONMAN debut at 7:55:48 winning his first IRONMAN. That would be his first sub 8-hour IRONMAN finishes and he has now gone on to record 3 sub 8-hour finishes in 6 IRONMAN starts!
Now with 2 IRONMAN wins to his name and recent 7 hrs and 46 min course record at IRONMAN Brazil in May, Brent is ready to put his fitness to the test. We are hoping he can carry some of that short course speed from his 7th place finish at Island House Invitational Triathlon to the IRONMAN Arizona race course and deliver another masterful performance.
On the other side of that finish line tape will be a much deserved off season!! Let’s go Brent!! We are cheering for you!
